“Leftovers” is physically astounding. Josh Martin moves in a seemingly impossible way, with sometimes frightening choreography.

With dramatic lighting and an empty stage, he flawlessly delivers a dark, uncomfortable feeling to the audience. The movement is robotic and enthralling, and combined with the electric growling of the music, this piece is fascinating and impressive.

What I got from it was an expression of inner torment and turmoil, which I loved, but it’s also just an interesting piece of art. Martin travels across the floor while still only moving a little bit at a time, and it still feels like he never stops moving. I noticed how smooth and clean the movement is. I was deeply impressed by these “Leftovers”.
